Position: Radio Intern
As a Radio Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our radio broadcasting efforts. You will work closely with our radio team to research potential opportunities, curate playlists, assist in organizing promotional events, and help ensure that our artists' music reaches a wider audience through radio platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Sending out weekly radio updates to clients and to the director of radio promotions.
-Creating daily email blasts to radio.
-Servicing daily radio tracking reports delivered directly from Billboard/Media-Base.
-Monitor Billboard and Media-Base for movement in our clients’ music.
-Research new radio stations that could help support our artist music.
-Assist with social media support by creating and posting weekly about artist updates.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for music and a strong interest in radio broadcasting and radio promotions.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and software for research and communication.
-A natural go getter.
-A self starter.
-Super positive and willing to work as a team.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic knowledge of radio programming and music promotion (preferred, but not required).
-A college degree is very much preferred.
